This is the inaugural post of Kelly Hub, a central place to gather my various projects and explorations.

What This Space Is For

Kelly Hub serves as a home base for:

  • Research projects in physics and quantum mechanics
  • Web applications and interactive tools
  • Trading analysis and market research
  • Design experiments and creative work
  • Notes and documentation from various explorations

How It Works

The Projects page automatically syncs with my Netlify deployments, showing only the sites I’ve starred. This means:

  1. When I star a site in Netlify, it appears here
  2. When I unstar it, it disappears
  3. Descriptions and categories can be customized in site-descriptions.json

This keeps the hub fresh and focused on active work.

The Design

The rustic, warm aesthetic reflects the idea of a workshop - a place where things are built, refined, and occasionally set aside to make room for new explorations. It’s meant to feel comfortable and lived-in, not sterile or corporate.

Typography uses Playfair Display for headings (bold, classical) and Crimson Text for body copy (readable, warm). The color palette draws from natural wood tones and aged paper.

What’s Next

Future additions might include:

  • Deeper integration with research notes
  • Tag-based navigation across projects
  • RSS feed for updates
  • Search functionality

But for now, this is a solid foundation - a place to gather work and share it with others.
